1 - General guidelines
The submission deadline for abstracts is Abril 12, 2021.
Registration is not mandatory in the submission process. However, all presenters must be registered for the conference by May 28, 2021.
All abstracts must contain original work and not presented in any other congress / symposium prior to SIAC 2021.
Abstracts should be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese and strictly submitted through the on-line abstract submission platform posted on the website congresovirtualsiac.com
The submission of an abstract acknowledges the author's acceptance for the abstract to be published in the official book of abstracts.
Accepted Abstracts will be published in the Congress Official Book of abstracts.
The presenting author ensures that all the co-authors are aware of the abstract content before submitting the mentioned abstract.
Do not mention the names of the (co)authors in your abstract text since the reviewing will be handled anonymously. Abstracts with names of (co)authors in the abstract text can’t be reviewed and will be excluded.
All abstracts must be submitted before April 12, 2021. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
As Presenting Author you must register to the congress. Registration must be completed by May 28, 2021. Each presenting author can present no more than 1 abstract.
2- Abstract content
Presentation Preference — Please note whether the preferred format is an Oral, poster, or both.
Abstracts should clearly state: short introduction, objectives, material and methods, results and conclusions.
- Title in uppercase and lowercase, without abbreviations.
- Authors' names: paternal and maternal surnames and initials of name (s).
- Use the minimum of abbreviations.
The body of the abstract must not exceed 400 words, Arial Font size 12.
Oral presentations will have 13 minutes for the presentation plus 2 minutes for discussion.
Please include generic names or terms in your abstract content.
3- Abstract selection
Once an abstract has been submitted through the online form, the author will receive a formal confirmation via email, including an abstract number and the text received. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Scientific Committee of SIAC 2021 will determine if the abstract is accepted as an oral presentation or as a poster, taking into account the preference chosen by the author.
Notifications of the Abstract Selection Committee's decision will be sent during the week of May 12-19, 2021, via email to the corresponding authors of all abstracts, regardless of the outcome.
The presenter of the abstract must register for the Congress before May 28, 2021.
Communications should include all the authors as well as the affiliations, city and country.
